Limited Submission Intent & Approval
Sponsors sometimes issue requests for proposals (RFPs) that limit the number of submissions they will accept from a given institution. Any submissions that exceed the defined limit can result in the rejection of every submitted proposal.
If you wish to respond to a limited submission RFP, you must notify the Office of Research either by contacting the pre-award administrator for your unit or by filling out our .
Once the Office of Research receives this notification, we will announce the limited submission opportunity in our weekly newsletter. We will provide a deadline by which other potential applicants must inform us of their intent to submit.
If more principal investigators express interest than the proposal allows, the Vice President for Research & Economic Development will select which applicant(s) may submit.
