Savoie College of Engineering. 鈥淎nd while they are not interested in being recognized publicly for their generous gift, they have a deep appreciation for the college鈥檚 role in engineering education, and they are committed to ensuring that more future professionals benefit from that quality education. The endowed scholarship is open to students majoring in electrical engineering. Depending the financial needs of the student, more than one student may receive the award. The scholarship can be renewed for up to a total of eight semesters.
The endowed engineering support fund will provide resources based on the priorities established by the dean of the Dr. Robert A. Savoie College of Engineering. Some of the projects may include: lab or classroom upgrades, tutoring center upgrades, Engineering Building technology improvements, support for student professional organizations, student enhancement activities, and faculty professional development.
