Graduate Assistantships
Film and Theatre offer Graduate Assistant (GA) positions for work in department facilities and offices, and teaching undergraduate entry-level courses. The number of available positions each year is based on Departmental needs and funding.
For graduate students, assistantships provide the opportunity to learn important skills, practice teaching, and help pay for school. GA assignments are made in the equipment room, scene shop, costume shop, editing labs, theatre box office, and main office. Assistants may also teach introductory undergraduate courses in film production, digital technology, film arts, oral communications, theatre arts, acting, and basic visual design. Other duties may include website development, promotion and public relations, and department communications.
Graduate Assistants receive a stipend and may receive a tuition remission for the Fall and Spring semesters in which they are employed. More information about Graduate Assistantships, including links to 麻豆视频app下载 rules and regulations can be found at the Graduate School Website.
